A third removalist is recommended for 4 bedroom homes or larger moves or difficult access situations. If you are unsure if this applies to you, please talk to our friendly staff about your requirements.
An extra removalist (third man for the job) is an additional $60 per hour. A 5 hour minimum for your move applies if you take this option.
If an additional removalist is added during the course of a move (depending on availability) a 2 hour minimum applies for that person plus a travel charge of $29 for locations North of the Brisbane River and $49 for locations South of the Brisbane River. For locations further than 35 km from the Brisbane CBD or in Logan, Redland Bay or Ipswich Council areas the travel charge is $69.

Our Pre-packing and Unpacking Service is the convenient way to move. We can pack up your entire household or just your kitchen and fragile items.
There is no need to organise any packing materials – our pre-packers will bring everything you could possibly need including boxes, port-a-robes, butcher paper, mattress, and couch protectors and much more on the day. You only pay for the materials used.
Pre-packing is done in-house by our professional packing crew, no subcontractors are being used. Please note that we use only our own packing materials for pre-packing for insurance purposes.
Pre-packing is available for $60 per hour per packer.
If packing is not done on the same day as the move a minimum charge of 2 hours applies for 1 packer, a minimum charge of 4 hours applies for 2 or more packers. We provide three weeks free storage at our purpose-built storage facility!
(If the move in and move out of storage is completed with our conventional trucks and removalist team)
We also provide all necessary padding to store your goods safely for free!
After the period free of charge our storage prices are based on square meters and the price is $25 per sqm per month, payable in advance. Refunds will be provided for any week not commenced.
No minimum period, no lock in contract.
If the move out of storage is not done by our company a $99 handling fee applies.
We also sell storage insurance at $2 per every $1,000 of value insured.
A 15 cubic meter furniture trailer can be booked to add extra space in addition to a truck.
The trailer is fully enclosed, has got carpeted tie rails and a loading ramp and is manned by one person.
The trailer and additional removalist are available for $79 per hour and a 5 hour minimum applies for the whole move. Depending on availability the trailer and additional removalist can be booked on short notice while a move is in progress.

A customised ute can be booked to save valuable time where access is difficult (height restrictions for lift access in undercover carparks, long driveways etc that the truck itself can’t access).
The ute is fully customised, is equipped with carpeted tie rails, all safety equipment, tight access trolleys and is manned by one person.
The ute and additional removalist are available for $79 per hour and a 5 hour minimum applies for the whole move. A travel charge of $49 for locations North of the Brisbane River and $69 for locations South of the Brisbane River apply. For locations further than 35 km from the Brisbane CBD or in Logan, Redland Bay or Ipswich Council areas the travel charge is $99.
All upright pianos, pool tables (maximum size 8x4 Foot) or any items (including but not limited to stone and marble items, fish tanks, gym equipment) over 100kg incur a heavy lift fee of $99, reduced from $120.
Super-size fridges over 800 litres (regular double door fridges aren’t considered heavy lifts), spas, stone or marble tables, heavy duty work benches or other items exceeding 150kg may require four men to comply with OH&S regulations. These are considered speciality lifts and incur a fee of $200 plus applicable hourly and travel charges for the extra men.
Also due to OH&S requirements we only move extra heavy items up or down stairs if the stairs are straight and wide enough and the removalists don’t have to negotiate corners under load.
The Moveage Group will have the final decision if an item can be moved safely – for the safety of our removalists and your belongings we do not guarantee to move your heavy items on the day.
You must inform us of any heavy lifts at the time of your booking to ensure the right team and equipment is on the job. If we encounter a heavy lift item on the day of the move without prior knowledge it is at our discretion whether we are capable of moving the item safely. If we move the heavy item the extra charges are applicable.
If you would like to purchase packing materials for your move this is of course possible. We sell all necessary packing materials for moving and storage. Please visit us at our storage facility with our on-site box shop and our friendly staff will help you select the packing materials you require.

As a reputable and responsible Removals and Storage company we render our services with all due care and we are proud to be members of the Australian Furniture Removers Association which also means we have to follow their code of conduct, guidelines and insurance requirements.
To fulfil our obligations:
FREE Shrink Wrap: We provide plastic shrink wrap FREE of charge to protect all items with doors, drawers, and glass as well as your tables and whitegoods. This will greatly reduce any potential damages and usual wear and tear. It will also speed up the loading /unloading process as the removalists don’t have to worry about drawers or doors opening and know the items are properly protected.
Plastic Protective Covers: We minimise the risk of damage, stains and usual wear and tear to your items during transport and storage as far as possible by using protective covers for your mattresses, couches, chairs, lounges etc. The protective covers have to be purchased at the current prices. Alternatively, free shrink wrap can also be used on these items.
Did you know: The Moveage Group has one of the lowest insurance claim ratios in the industry (1 claim in every 4500 - 5000 moves).
But we do need to make you aware that the cover we as a removals company can get is not a new for old policy and is limited as per our terms and conditions. Unfortunately, we and our insurer cannot know the exact value of your items at the time of your removal and especially not what they are worth to you personally. Any removals company who tells you that their policy is covering everything new for old is unfortunately not telling the truth. These policies are just not available to removals companies.
